Rhodium Systems Inc. is a software company based in the Atlanta, Georgia metro area, building tools that give IT professionals and managed service providers better control over their infrastructure.

The Founders

Phil Dalrymple, Co-Founder, CTO and Chairman of Rhodium Systems, co-founded MDT Software in the late 1980s and was the primary developer of the original MDT product, later known as MDT AutoSave, a widely used change management and version control system for industrial automation environments. He brings more than 40 years of IT and software development experience to Rhodium. Phil has been a student of DNS management for decades — developing automated tools to compensate for the absence of commercial DNS products long before ResorsIT existed.

Gary Gillespie, Co-Founder and CEO of Rhodium Systems, spent 17 years running MDT Software, where he served as General Manager, Vice President, and President. He led the company through its acquisition by private equity and subsequent merger. Earlier in his career, Gary worked in the space program and at other software companies. He holds two engineering degrees.

After MDT, Phil and Gary teamed up in 2024 to found Rhodium Systems Inc.

Our Products

Rhodium Systems develops software for IT professionals and managed service providers. ResorsIT DNS/IP delivers DNS configuration management with audit logging, rollback, and automated health checks. The ResorsIT IT Operations Platform integrates in-house and open-source applications to provide a broader IT operations management environment.
